Likes,Dislikes, and Summer

I would like to take a moment and explain a favorite topic of mine, which is new media. There is a particular type of new media that i like and that is video games. Yes, I do love games because they relieve stress, you can tune out real life problems like a bad day at work, car is in the shop, or something. There are a lot of problems like, violence, suicides, and people just wanting to be in the games, and finally people getting addicted. Yes people get addicted but whats worse of an addiction, video games, or tobacco. Well, you may say video games are bad ,BUT when was the last time someone got cancer DIRECTLY from gaming. Yeah sure people get cancer from gaming but that is because their smoking well playing. Well that also brings up a HATED topic of mine which is the criticizing video games. What is so bad about the violence of gaming? A lot of people say "they make people serial killers." I just want to slap some sense into people when they say that. They make people serial killers, bull s**t that it does. A very very very very small percentage do. How small you ask? If you take all the gamers in the world only like 1% would, but thats because they are not right in the head. Its just ticks me off that people blame the Columbine High School massacre on video games. REALLY people believe that video games made the two shooters go and kill their fellow students. That's like saying rock music made Oswald shoot Kennedy. Its just ticks me that people want to blame others when the actually was they were nuts. Its that simple there is no "OH games did this, music did that." No its just their minds were messed up to the point of crazy.

With that said I hope you students out there have big plans for summer because it coming me. Me i'm just going to sit back, relax, and enjoy the up and coming summer vacation.

Well guys and girls, there isn't much to tell you this week. Besides just its been a semi-bad week, I've been bored almost all day everyday at school and the fact that school work has me stressed out. Its been hard to focus in one class when I have a worksheet due next class or a test next period. Not to mention the fact that gas is getting more and more expensive. I mean $50 dollars fills 3/4 of my gas tank and that's at Kroger where gas is just a tad bit cheaper. Now I wouldn't be complaining as much if I could find a job, but barely anyone is hiring besides fast food, and i don't want to work at a fast food place. I wish this economy was stronger so I could find a fun place to work. I just wish Congress will stop trying to fix the economy and just say "Sorry we can't fix it." Economy are SUPPOSE to go up and down, up and down. NOT up down gov. bail out. It only hurts the recovery process, and only makes the economy worse. So in short, the government needs to learn that this is a country on FREEDOM but all I see is more and more laws, dumber law makers that limit our free will, and they don't know bull because they are trying to censor the web instead of worrying about the failing roads, schools, and companies.
